Equitable Distribution [1/4] is the opening chapter of Traxus's flagship priority contract chain in Marathon. Vulcan, the Traxus handler, tasks Runners with proving their loyalty to the corporation's bottom line through a timed logistics operation on the Perimeter map. The first objective sends you to the second floor of the Hauler point of interest, where you must locate and acquire a Self-Erasing Data Drive from a secure locker. Once you have the drive, the clock starts ticking: you must deliver it to one of four Data Consolidation (DCON) points scattered across Perimeter before the data wipes itself. The all-in-one-run requirement means there is no room for a failed extraction attempt or an extended firefight.

This first part of the Equitable Distribution contract establishes the tone for everything that follows: Traxus demands speed, precision, and a willingness to push through contested territory under pressure. Completing it unlocks the second phase of the chain and begins building the faction reputation that feeds into Traxus's upgrade tree. Rewards are primarily reputation-based at this stage, but the chain as a whole leads to significant gear unlocks. Equitable Distribution [1/4] is recommended for Runners already comfortable with Perimeter's layout, since navigating to Hauler, locating the drive, and reaching a DCON under time pressure requires familiarity with the zone.
