UESC Grenadier

The UESC Grenadier is a specialist infantry unit in the United Earth Space Council's security forces on Tau Ceti IV, assigned to area denial and crowd control roles. Armed with a supply of grenades, these combatants excel at disrupting runner positioning and forcing movement in ways that leave targets exposed to follow-up fire from allied UESC units. Grenadiers are most dangerous not in isolation but as a supporting element during multi-enemy engagements, where their explosive ordnance can scatter runners who are already occupied with other threats.

In combat, UESC Grenadiers prioritize lobbing grenades to deny cover and flush runners out of entrenched positions.
