UESC Recruit

UESC Recruits are the standard frontline infantry of the United Earth Space Council security forces deployed on Tau Ceti IV. These autonomous combat units serve as the bulk of UESC patrols across all zones, programmed to maintain order and neutralize any unauthorized presence on the planet. Despite their designation as entry-level combatants, UESC Recruits are equipped with flight capability, allowing them to engage from elevated positions and pursue targets across uneven terrain. While manageable in isolation, they are frequently encountered in groups and will coordinate their attacks to corner and overwhelm unprepared runners.

In combat, UESC Recruits default to aggressive engagement the moment a runner enters their line of sight. They close distance quickly and open fire with standard-issue weaponry, and their ability to fly means no high ground is inherently safe. Their individual threat level is relatively low, but the real danger comes from being overwhelmed in confined spaces where their numbers can pin a runner down. Notably, Recruits have a chance to drop surprisingly high-rarity loot, making them worth engaging when the situation allows. Runners should prioritize thinning groups quickly and use terrain cover to avoid being surrounded.
