Conductive Filament is an Enhanced-tier salvage material composed of ultra-fine metallic threads capable of carrying high-frequency electrical signals with minimal resistance. Originally used in NuCaloric's advanced agricultural machinery and atmospheric processing equipment on Tau Ceti IV, these filaments are prized for their ability to interface with both biological and electronic systems. The NuCaloric faction requires Conductive Filaments at mid-tier upgrade nodes as the faction develops runner survivability upgrades and unlocks additional consumables for purchase. Conductive Filaments drop from Enhanced-tier containers across the game's zones and are noticeably less common than Standard-tier salvage. Runners progressing the NuCaloric tree should watch for Conductive Filaments as their faction investment moves beyond the earliest upgrade tiers in Marathon.
