Longshot Schema

The Longshot Schema is a weapon blueprint that unlocks the Longshot sniper rifle for crafting at the Armory in Marathon. Schemas function as temporary licenses: once registered, they allow a runner to purchase that weapon a limited number of times before the schema is depleted. The Longshot is a semi-automatic ballistic sniper rifle purpose-built for long-range engagements, offering faster follow-up shots than traditional bolt-action designs without sacrificing the stopping power expected of a sniper-class weapon. This schema is particularly valuable for runners who anchor their playstyle around long-range control and want reliable, repeatable access to a high-performance sniper rifle. Schemas can be found in Data Ports, Secured Lockers, supply drops, and as faction contract rewards across Marathon's zones.
