These precision optical components were originally used in MIDA's surveillance network and retain their advanced light-gathering and targeting calibration properties. The MIDA faction requires Surveillance Lenses for mid-tier upgrade nodes, alongside Dynamic and Thoughtwave Lenses, as they develop their portfolio of intelligence-gathering tools and tactical equipment. Surveillance Lenses drop from Enhanced-tier containers and POIs, particularly in areas where MIDA infrastructure was most concentrated. Runners building toward MIDA's grenade and tactical equipment unlocks should collect Surveillance Lenses consistently as they progress through Marathon's mid-game content.
