The Combat Grip is a Deluxe-tier grip slot weapon mod in Marathon that improves weapon handling by reducing aim-down-sights draw time by 0.15 seconds and adjusting equip speed. This tighter ADS response makes the Combat Grip valuable in situations where getting a weapon on target quickly is critical, particularly when emerging from cover, recovering from a sprint, or responding to a sudden threat. Compatible weapons include the Impact HAR, M77 Assault Rifle, and Overrun AR.

The Combat Grip is the only grip mod among the core 21 weapon mods in Marathon, giving it a unique position in loadout building. Its handling improvements suit assault rifles and rapid-response playstyles where the time between spotting an enemy and having a stable shot determines survival.
