With 120 firepower and an effective range of 155 meters, it is one of the longest-reaching and hardest-hitting weapons in Marathon, capable of engaging targets at distances no other weapon class can reliably contest. The 0.75-second charge time gates its power, requiring runners to anticipate engagements and pre-charge before the enemy comes into view. Once fired, the automatic release ensures the shot goes downrange at peak charge, removing the need to manually release. Volt Drain sits at 50% per shot, making ammo management critical: a two-shot magazine's worth of energy empties the battery entirely, so every shot must accomplish something meaningful.

The V00 Zeus RG achieves a time-to-kill of 0.67 seconds against unshielded targets and 0.96 seconds against purple shields, meaning a fully charged shot can end most fights in a single engagement. Accuracy is 74.8% with a 2.5x zoom scope for long sightlines. Rate of fire is 90 RPM and reload takes 3.5 seconds. Recoil is 100, and the projectile-based detection type means the round travels across the map as a physical object rather than connecting instantly, requiring slight lead on moving targets at extreme range. The Zeus naming reflects the weapon's theme of overwhelming, godlike firepower delivered in a single strike.
