Introducing: NuCaloric

Introducing: NuCaloric is a CyberAcme Liaison contract that opens up the NuCaloric Agricultural faction for progression. While the contract carries NuCaloric's name, it is offered and tracked through CyberAcme, and all reputation earned contributes to CyberAcme standing rather than NuCaloric's. The assignment takes place in Perimeter and tasks Runners with recovering personnel records from within a UESC-occupied building, a mission framing consistent with NuCaloric's focus on documenting what happened to New Cascadia's colonists. The building in question is sealed at ground level, requiring Runners to access it from above.

The contract requires two objectives completed in a single run in Perimeter. Runners must retrieve the NuCal Employee ID from the Columns building, accessed by climbing to the roof and breaking through a vent cover to drop inside. They must then download employee data from a terminal inside the same building. Crucially, the contract completes as soon as both objectives are finished: exfiltration is not required. Each objective awards 90 CyberAcme Reputation, totaling 180 Rep on completion, with a 30 Rep bonus shared to each squadmate. Completing the contract unlocks NuCaloric as a playable faction with access to its full upgrade tree and contract chain.
