Reinforced Shields V1 is an enhanced rarity shield implant in Marathon that reinforces your base shields to take half damage, effectively doubling their durability against incoming hits. Unlike the Protector family which adds shield slots, Reinforced Shields V1 modifies how damage is absorbed by your existing shields, making each shield point twice as efficient at absorbing punishment. The tradeoff is -5 Agility and -5 Heat Capacity, the same mobility cost as Protector V1, reducing your movement speed, jump height, and sustained sprint endurance.
