Destroyed Wing Key

The Destroyed Wing Key is a standard-rarity key that unlocks the door leading into the Destroyed Wing of the Pinwheel Base on the Outpost zone, one of the three primary sections of this major contested facility. The Destroyed Wing sits adjacent to the Orientation building and was the site of significant structural damage, providing a battle-scarred environment with broken walls, exposed floors, and a distinct atmospheric setting. Behind the locked door, runners gain access to the wing's interior loot, which is part of the broader Pinwheel Base reward pool and includes weapons, equipment, and high-quality salvage. Note that as of Update 1.0.0.4, the Destroyed Wing's alternative breach entrance was temporarily disabled, making the key-based entry through this door the primary reliable method of access. The Destroyed Wing Key is a random world drop across Outpost, and carrying it in from a previous run is the most dependable way to guarantee access on any given raid.
