Storage Drive is a Deluxe-tier salvage material recovered from rugged data storage units designed for long-term operation in Tau Ceti IV's harsh conditions. These high-capacity drives were used in NuCaloric's colony management infrastructure and Sekiguchi Genetics' biomata data archives, making them valuable sources of recoverable information and raw computational hardware. The Sekiguchi faction requires Storage Drives for mid-to-upper-tier upgrade nodes related to runner data management and core enhancement systems. They drop from Deluxe Locked Rooms and elevated-tier containers across Marathon's zones. While less rare than Superior materials, Storage Drives represent a meaningful step up in scarcity from Enhanced-tier salvage and reward runners who explore more dangerous areas of Tau Ceti IV.
