Shareware.EXE is a passive trait ability belonging to the Triage Runner Shell in Marathon. When active, any medical consumable that the Triage player uses is also distributed to teammates who are currently being healed by the Med-Drone, extending the consumable's benefit to the whole squad rather than just the Triage. This effectively turns single-use items into multi-target resources, amplifying the value of every consumable in the Triage's inventory.

Shareware.EXE incentivizes Triage players to stockpile medical consumables as part of their loadout and looting strategy. In team play, this trait can swing the outcome of a prolonged fight by allowing a single Triage to distribute healing boosts, shield restores, or status-clearing items across multiple squadmates simultaneously. The trait functions best when the Med-Drone is already deployed and covering multiple allies, making the sequencing of Med-Drone deployment before consumable use an important micro-habit for effective Triage play.
