Triage

Triage is Marathon's dedicated combat field medic, built for players who want to keep their squad alive and in the fight. As the only Runner Shell with a full suite of healing-focused abilities, Triage excels in team compositions that rely on sustained engagements and resurrection plays. A well-played Triage can be the difference between a successful extraction and a full squad wipe, making this Runner one of the highest-impact choices for coordinated groups.

The Prime ability, Reboot+ (also called Capacitive Gauntlets), delivers an electrical charge that can either revive downed teammates or EMP enemies, giving Triage both offensive and critical utility in a single ability slot. The Tactical ability Med-Drone deploys a floating drone that follows allies and continuously restores health and shields, preventing bleed-out during extended fights. Two passive traits amplify the support role: Shareware.EXE causes medical consumable benefits to be shared with squadmates healed by the Med-Drone, extending consumable value across the whole team; and Battery Overcharge causes weapons to emit EMP bursts whenever an enemy's shield is broken, adding pressure to Triage's combat contribution.

Triage is best suited to players who enjoy a supportive role and take satisfaction in enabling their teammates' success. The Runner's main weakness is limited self-healing: while the Med-Drone provides outstanding ally recovery, Triage is exposed while deploying and managing their support tools.
