Microjets is a passive trait ability belonging to the Vandal Runner Shell in Marathon. It grants the Vandal a double jump: pressing the jump input a second time while airborne activates small integrated jet boosters that propel the Runner upward for a second burst of height. Each use of the double jump generates heat as a cost, creating a direct tension between vertical mobility and the Vandal's overheating risk.

Microjets is one of the defining movement advantages of the Vandal, allowing the Runner to reach elevated positions other Runners cannot access without a grapple, to dodge grenades or area attacks mid-fight, and to extend airtime for better angles on enemies below. When combined with the Amplify Prime, the heat cost of each double jump is substantially reduced, enabling far more frequent use during active engagements. The interplay between Microjets, Power Slide, and Amplify creates the Vandal's signature chaotic, multi-directional movement style that makes them one of Marathon's hardest Runners to hit.
