Spectre Armor is a prestige rarity shield implant in Marathon and a rare standout among shield slot options due to its unique tactical trait: when your shields are fully depleted, you briefly become invisible. This moment of invisibility provides a critical survival window to reposition, disengage, or turn the tables on an opponent who just broke through your defenses. The stat cost is -5 Agility and -5 Heat Capacity, the same mobility penalty as Protector V1 and Reinforced Shields V1, making it one of the more mobility-friendly options at the prestige tier.

As a prestige tier shield implant, Spectre Armor is extremely rare and commands significant credit value when found. Its passive invisibility trigger is most valuable in PvP, where the brief stealth window can cause opponents to lose tracking and break off a finishing push. It is also useful in high-threat PvE scenarios where momentary concealment from enemies allows a runner to survive a burst of incoming fire and recover.
